Hi There!
I am Lindsey Britten, an East Coast based Interior Designer! I have lived all over the U.S. from San Diego, Texas, Florida and recently relocated with my family, back to the DMV! I am one of those lucky women who truly found their soulmate in this life. My husband is an active duty Marine, and together we have two beautiful daughters and one handsome pup. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their love + support— you guys rock! ♥️
I received my B.F.A. in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego in 2021. Prior to moving into the Design Industry, I served in the United States Marine Corps for 10 years as a Signals Intelligence Analyst. Talk about making a 180 degree career change! During my studies, I began my business with a BANG, going all in with a full home remodel. The opportunity fueled my entrepreneurial spirit and allowed me to accomplish more than I ever thought I could, and thus LBI was born. Managing projects from start to finish has opened my eyes to every aspect of the design process, has made me a much more experienced designer in a shorter time, and has allowed me to form so many meaningful relationships with my clients!
My foundational love for design started in my childhood while accompanying my father, a custom builder, to construction sites and assisting him in paint and material choices for his homes. My design style is fueled by travel, art, and nature. Creating functional, timeless and breathtaking spaces is my top priority in my designs. My aesthetic pulls inspiration from nature, textures, and the elements around us.
I specialize in custom cabinetry and millwork design, realistic 3D renderings, construction documentation, space planning, concept development, and material and furnishing selections, I'd love to work with you!
